It may be more expensive but Patrick Holford says that it actually works out cheaper, when you compare the vitamin and mineral contents. You’re basically getting more nutrition per pound! (Notice the pun!)
I really miss my allotment which I gave up last year to focus on my new business, and now I have to resort to buying organic and it’s just not the same at all. It was so amazing being able to pick and cook within half an hour! You get the taste, the aroma (fresh leeks!) the vitamins, the satisfaction (butternut squash is so easy to grow and so tasty!)
But hopefully, not too long to wait. When I move to Spain later this year, I’ll be able to eat organic and fresh all of the time. I’m also planning on buying a property with some land so I can grow my own organic produce for the holistic centre www.spanishfitnessbootcamp.com.
I’m so excited…
