Join the Peace Corps

I think I can save the world from home. Besides, there are little animals out on the street who need my help and I can’t turn my back on them.

Apparently I’ll be off in some other country for 24 months. Two years of my life in another country. My education and the languages I know will determine what country that will be and what I do in it.

My question is: What happened? I thought the peace crops took anyone who wanted to join. Can’t go to college? Join the peace corps, now they want you to have a degree and not just any degree it has to be something like liberal arts or engineering.

The world really does change fast.

I’ve always wanted to be one of those people who can look back on their life and say they did all sorts of things, like painting in Europe and helping save the world.

I want to help save the world!
