graduate summa cum laude

Grades are in! I JUST MADE summa cum laude by the skin of my teeth. Where in gawds name did that awful phrase ever come from anyway? All of the hard work definitely paid off as my first, and only as it turns out, intereview was at a fortune 500 company, which I only got because of my GPA, got the job, relocated to begin work there (Pittsburgh) and am working there right now! By the way, I love it! YAY!!

4.0 baby! Yee haw!!! One more semester down and one more to go! cum: 3.97

I let procrastination get the best of me. I scored a horrendous 70% on a banking exam. It was worth 20% of my final grade. I did not prepare adequately for the exam (been having difficulty staying focused this past month), but STILL, I’m at a loss as to how I could have peformed so miserably. I can still get an A in the class if I score 95% on my final and 100% on my term paper. Wish me luck because no matter how hard I work, I will be needing at least a little bit to pull off a 4.0 this semester.

Fall ‘06 grades JUST came in… 4.0!!!!!!! wahooOooO! Now my cum is a 3.96. Difficult semester coming up… Advanced Corporate Finance, International Finance, Money and Banking, Public Finance (which I might replace with pre-calc), Employment Discrimination and Commercial Banking. Wish me luck!!!!
