grow my own vegetables

With the limited space I have I’m enjoying my home grown eggplant, lettuce and soon to sprout beans and brussell sprouts ….

Have really focussed on the herbs though and have thriving (and abundant) patches of – basil, lemon thyme, rosemary, oregano, parsely, sage, chillis, marjoram …

Yay!

I am so excited, we’ve been living in our new place (with a yard!) for just on 6 months and so far I’m growing ….

Pumpkin
Corn (the ants keep eating it though)
Zuchini
Capsicum
3 types of chilli
Eggplant
2 types of lettuce
2 types of tomatoes
Thyme
Sage
Basil (a mountain of it!)
Rosemary
Parsley
Garlic
Oregano

We have some issues with bugs but are trying to stay organic.

Am only just harvesting now in our southern hemisphere summer …. Very Rewarding!

SO excited, it’s chock full of great herbs …. we harvested some for our dinner on the weekend and it was great.

The closest thing I can think of is to start buying all organic veg from the markets.

One day I will have a great vegie patch ….... sigh.
