Does long hair define us as women?

I have always wanted to cut my hair short. Maybe a pixie style, maybe something with a harder edge. I’ve got the guts, but I afraid to lose the glory. So much of what makes us women is our femininity. Our hair is one aspect of our femininity; it seperates us from the male species. Men wish to get lost in it, babies love it, and magazines can’t write enough about it. Will I ever do it? Probably. Will I regret it? Only for a minute. Afterall, it always grows back.
