edit my novel

i need to. i’ll be taking my manuscript on a plane flight with me next week and a pretty blue pen. then it’ll be time to input al the changes (in between the new job).

Well, I’ve kind of stalled on this. I guess I’ve been writing new stuff, and waiting for my friends to get back to me on what they think of the draft that I gave to them to look over. sighs I should just start typing in the blue pencil stuff and wait and see what they have to say. I’ll start tomorrow. Tonight, I wanna write 1k of new stuff (for consistency) and then maybe go watch a movie with a buddy.

Or almost complete. On the blue pencil side of things I’ve got ten pages to go. On the writing new scenes front… everything to go. On the entering all the changes into the computer well… we’ll burn that bridge when I get there.

So, I wrote this thing last January. All WriMo style and everything. It’s 81k and I’m raring to go. I got it printed yesterday, and a la Holly Lisle, I’m giving myself two weeks to get the editing part of this process done.

Also, I think I’ve grown since I wrote it, I mean seriously, I graduated college, dealt with a year of having a fiance in Iraq, got dumped by said fiance, spent five months abroad teaching english, wrote another novel, met so many new people. Let’s just see what this growth does for the editing of the novel.
