earn a PhD

Passed my comps just fine. Currently working on lots and lots of lab research.

My comprehensive exams will be in a few weeks. Right now I’m working on refreshing that biochemistry. I think that will be the hardest exam, so I’m spending the most time on that material.

I have just finished the first semester of my PhD program. Coursework was…I won’t say it was a breeze…but it wasn’t as hard as I expected either. The big challenge is my research. This summer I hope to work on my research proposal and get moving a bit quicker on my experiments, and hopefully to figure out who (besides my advisor) will be on my committee.
