I got my hair cut before my job interview. I said to the hairdresser “I’d like my hair cut sharp. I don’t want layers, I don’t like layers. The hairdresser was really, REALLY GOOD! She cut my hair sharp, she cut it without layers, she even told me that I could just comb it and leave it and didn’t tell me to blow dry or use product.
Fantastic!

I’ve had my hair cut, and booked another appointment for 6 weeks time.

I booked a hair appointment last Thursday. Everything seemed okay in the salon, staff cheerful, people working, hair being cut. The very next day, one hour before my appointment, I get a phone call: “Due to an engineering problem, something to do with water, we have to move out of the salon today, and we’re setting up down the road, and we’ll call you in a week to re-book.”
What!?
On Sunday I walked past the salon and it had a For Lease sign in the window, and a handwritten note letting us all know that only authorised representatives of the real estate agency were allowed to access the premises. Weird.
So my hair is still bad.

my hair is bland . . . my hair is actually pretty bad. Tim says to me “you haven’t had an out there hair cut since we’ve been together” which isn’t entirely true, it’s since I’ve moved to Newtown that I’ve mediocre hair. So the obvious solution is go back to Potts Point and have it cut. Short.
