Finishing something – anything – is so satisfying. Today I actually completed a project I’d had in my mind for the last few weeks. I planned to redo our back porch for a while, and came up with a few ideas of what furniture I’d paint, what colors I’d use, etc. Today, I finally finished it, and it looks terrific. I feel so good about seeing something through… I just keep looking at it and sighing in relief.
I know it’s only a little redecorating, but every little bit helps. Now I just have to get through grad school and follow through with something a little more important!
