I got talking to this girl in the pub (no, she didn’t have one in a dodgy duffle bag under the table and I do know her)and she knows of an irish cob that’s for sale. not quite the thoroughbread I’d imagined but then I’ll never afford one of those. But a lovely little ploddy cob that I can treck over the mountain on in the summer. a dream come true.
