Switch to linux

I tried Knoppix…the live CD demo version of linux, so that I could get a feel for it. It took a while to get going, but I did it, experienced a little bit of linux, and the next step now is dual-booting. All of this means that I am using the internet more resourcefully as well :)

I am currently using windows :( I want to switch to linux, and tried downloading and installing colinux, which works alongside windows, but this proved rather difficult, and I have little experience of linux so far. Now I am trying a live CD instead. Once I become familiar with it, I will switch completely.
