Go to a Photography seminar

I want to meet with a digital group, although I’m sure I would learn from the film / slide guys, it’s not what I’m interested in shooting. That, and I just plain forgot to go.

Nashoba Valley Photo Club

Is having a meeting / seminar. I’m considering going. It should be intersting. The big downside, they are mostly slide people, and I’m 100% digital. I don’t car for processing fees, and when I can have alot better control with digital. So… I’m not sure.

But… I still want to take more classes on digital photography, and post production. I want to better understand how to tweak the camera and photos to get the best end result. I’ve found a few good site to use as a reference, but I prefer hands on learning.

But didn’t get much out of it. I took a bunch of pictures from the cape, not much to say about it tho, I haven’t looked at them or rated them. I’ll try to do that later tonight.

From take more pictures, to go to a photography seminar. So I can not only take more, but better shots. I’m really looking forward to going to chile and taking a ton of photos. I want some really great shots. To do this, I want to know how to take them right.
I’ve taken a basic course in college, but a refresher is always good.

I was on a great island for 5 days, In preparing to go I noticed my camera’s battery was toast. I got everything else I needed, but forgot to get the battery. So, 5 days of sights without a single picture of my own. The worst part? My buddy with a brand new digital rebel, that he has 0 ability to use was wasting binary bits all weekend… :(
I’ll buy batteries this week, and hopefully have a picture worthy trip in the coming weeks.

It’s a quiet place, only yourself, your friends, and an abandoned fort. Should be a blast with a many picturesque moments.
