Spring 2011… my ass is making it to Thailand whether or not my friend Jeremy comes through. I’m saving up, and I can’t even remember how long it’s been since I’ve wanted to travel there. Jeremy (gatorade- his mom used to bring gatorade to all of the soccer games during grade school, and the name just stuck)should be getting out of the service at the same time I’ll be getting out of americorps so he invited me to come along on his trip to experience Muay Thai (Thai Boxing). I’m not as interested in the boxing as I am in his safety, but I am soooooooooooooo excited about the opportunity to travel that area with guys that I can trust and depend on for extra saftey measures- it doesn’t hurt to have a few Army Rangers and Medics on your journey.
