A black and white cottage
A tall green tree
These are things belonging only to me
A cage, imprisoning me
An escape, but no key
This isn’t who I want to be
A troubled boy and a quiet girl,
Why couldn’t he see me?
He what they say I need
I have all the books but can’t read
I have all the clothes but it’s not me
These are things I’ll never need
I know the truth
and I have a promise
that’s all I’ll ever need

I wrote this in 2006

The terriable day I passed away
You were the only one I saw that day
Just before you said a final goodbye,
You remembered the part that hasn’t died

I’ll look down on you from clouds above
Send my blessings and my love
It’s time to let the old things go
Plant new seeds and let them grow

Old things die and fade away
But memories will always stay
Don’t be sad and please don’t cry
Just remember the part that hasn’t died

If I could play some insturment, I’d make this a song. I don’t think I’m totally done with this yet.

This was definetly meant to be a song. After I change the last three lines a little bit
