learn to tap dance

Tap Dancing… i never knew it could be so awesome… or so hard. My instructor makes every move look so easy – and then when i try, i have the grace of a tapdancing walrus. No shoes yet… so i had to dance in my stocking feet. That’s tough, let me tell you, i thought my arches were going to explode. As we were leaving i overheard another tap dancee say: “There was a huge void in my life, and who knew all it would take to fill it was Adult Tap” ...my sentiments exactly.

There was one moment when we were all tapping to “Fly Me To The Moon” and i was actually getting it ...i felt so alive…it was great.

Husband is buying my shoes as a Valentine’s Gift, but they’re not in yet!! hopefully they come in sooooon!

So, i had lunch with an old friend today. I can’t believe how time flies!! And as we were saying our goodbyes he said: “Hey, are you interested in taking a tap class at all?” So, looks i might be working on this one sooner than i thought. yay me.
