I really want to read Richard III now that we discussed the actual king in my British history class. Pretty interesting fellow, that Richard III. I’ve heard the Shakespeare play is great, too. Maybe tomorrow if I have time I’ll get to it.
Magdalen Mae has written 3 entries about this goal
My mom has a GIANT hardcover book with all of Shakespeare’s plays and sonnets in it that she had to buy when she was in college and kept because she still loves it so much. I’ve been meaning to borrow it, but honestly, I would probably never give it back, and then I’d feel bad.
Well, I was at Books A Million the other day, and I got my very own hardcover collection of everything Shakespeare ever did for only $20!
Read for School:
Romeo and Juliet
Much Ado about Nothing
Julius Caesar
Twelfth Night
Hamlet
Macbeth
Read for fun:
Antony and Cleopatra (I’ve always been fascinated with Cleopatra, so I wanted to read this)
Seen performed but not read:
The Taming of the Shrew
A Midsummer Night’s Dream
I know, I know…basically two of the ones most educated people have read
