get my eyes checked

It’s frustrating not being able to see hardly!

I’ve decided after the power bill and the phone bill are caught up and I’m caught up on paying off my bad checks and have paid the $23 to get my driver’s license (or maybe I will do this first so I KNOW my vision is good enough I won’t fail THAT part of the license test), I am DEFINITELY going to go do this. I have insurance, so it shouldn’t be TOO much, right?

It’s affecting my work. I have to stare at a computer screen for four hours straight. At first I just got a splitting headache from eye strain, but the last day I went to work my vision was really blurry by the end of the shift.

I don’t know what’s wrong with my eyes. I swear I’ve have the same vision for years now, except lately I have trouble focusing on what I see for too long without getting really bad headaches. Whenever I do focus, I have nearly perfect vision, but if I do it too long, I have really red, glassy eyes and it’s painful. Also, when I drive I have trouble seeing the road or where the lane ends, so things come up on me really fast, and I don’t speed (if anything I go 5 under the limit, because the friend who lets me drive has a speedometer that is five fast, and I always go the speed limit). People who see me read never think there’s a problem, but the friend who drove with me is almost sure there is, and because I know I can’t see, I’m inclined to agree. So I think one of these days in the near future I’m just going to go to Wal-Mart (don’t know any optometrists in my area) and get an eye exam.
