Another $6 out of the tutoring money. :D I’m sooo happy!

Another $5 19 months ago

I received a $50 from tutoring yesterday, so I deposited $5 to my account. It’s a bit strange to be depositing such small amount of cash but I’m determined to keep on doing this. Feeling strange should not hinder me from taking charge of my personal finance!

I’m thinking if I should be doing the same to my coin stash. Hmm…

$8 was a 10% from my tutoring gig.

$10 from my part-time job.

Going good, going good…

Yup, started today! 19 months ago

$16. Pitiful amount but good enough for a start, I think. I worked 11 hours this week.

I deposited it into an account without bank charge to it. Also, with this account if I don’t withdraw money for that month, I will be paid interest. I’ll figure out how much the interest are when I have the time.

I’m budgeting around $10-$15 for groceries this week. I don’t spend much on food because I work in a bakery and I can take breads out if I want. That budget is probably only going to milk, orange juice and the odd instant noodles here and there. A student don’t have much time to cook (but lots of time to dilly dally on 43things. =P)

I’m thinking of doing the same thing to my tax returns too.

This feels good!

Shouldn't be too hard 19 months ago

Now I’ve put it in writing…

I have a part-time job at a local bakery. In addition to that, sometimes I do the ocassional waitressing gig (on call) and some other odd jobs here and there.

10% of that pitiful pay won’t break my bank, but it will start me on the road to wealth (hopefully!). :)
