Say something completely random to someone completely random every day for a month. Log the phrases and reactions.

So I’ve been devouring forensics books lately and it seems that it’s all I can really think about. My neighbor and I both sit outside to smoke (yes, I’m smoking) and usually have curt conversation. So I posed him a question…”Did you know that rigor mortis begins to reverse itself after forty eight hours?”
He was not aware of this, but started talking about global warming instead. Which is cool cause I honestly don’t know as much as I should on the subject. I think he figured I was already in school for this kinda thing. Then again, he does know how wierd we are.

“Do you think anyone has ever turned their swimming pool into an aquarium of some sort?”
To person walking toward me hiding under his umbrella.
He had a startled expression for just a second, then he proceeded to ignore me and walk at a faster pace.
This game is fun.
In all fairness, though, the guy probably just thought I was on drugs…or couldn’t think of anything to say. Still, this really is fun.

I was sitting on the sidewalk right near Hawthorn looking at a house painted super seventies colors (faded orange, pink, brown, et cetera) when the man who lives there came out to smoke a cigarette.
I said to the person standing nearest to me “Look, that guy dresses to match his house.”
“Yes he does. It’s a beautiful day isn’t it?”
And random guy proceeds to ask me out.
No one, aside from old creepy men and crackheads, has ever just asked me out like that. Maybe I should try this random thing more often, eh?

“Did you know they make sex toys for dogs now?” To man at convenience store who always catches me in random conversation. He didn’t say much this time, just gave me a strange look and started a conversation with the person behind me. I wish more people said random stuff like that to me. Now I must think up something for tomorrow…
