- my day started out rough this morning BUT it’s ending well
- even though i couldn’t cash in my check this past weekend, i had time to cash it in today
- good tv shows on today haha
- my friend and i made up and she’s open to me again
- lot’s of good food in the refrigerator
- had the grace to control my temper at work

im one of the vocalist at my church praise and worship team. well we’ve been given the opportunity to save and go to australia as a team to attend the Hillsong Conference ‘07 in Sydney, AUSTRALIA^. i took a leap of faith in deciding to save and go. as a college student, working part time, it seemed almost impossible, from the financial standpoint. but i trusted in God and really cast out my faith to go and today we had a meeting about our financial progress of meeting the $2500 goal to go on the trip and amazingly i’m paid off (after i turn in my $100 on sunday)!! and all the glory MUST go to God bc of all the people donating so much money to us. in fact, only a few hundred dollars came out of my own pocket. so PRAISE GOD. ::so excited to go to Australia this summer:: :D all things are possible, God is the author and finisher of my faith and n o t h i n g is too big for Him!

its says in 1 thess 5:18 “in EVERYTHING give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” so simply restated, don’t just be thankful in SOMEthings or things that are convenient, but in EVERYTHING! FIND ways to be thankful even in the worst cases.
for example (true story too lol), today i was driving home from work on the highway and for some reason my car started jerking and i barely was able to pull into a parking lot where i realized the car died. i try to call my parents and no one answers. i call my friends and barely any of them answer. i was stuck under the hot 90+degree heat of the sun and i was getting thirsty, feeling like i was on the verge of dehydration. BUT then i laugh!! haha bc i think: well it could’ve been worse. i couldve gotten stuck and embarassed on the highway. i could be in the middle of nowhere w/o a cell phone. and atleast i was able to get a hold of my parents to come and help me. so in the midst of what could’ve been a horrible day, i found peace and even humor in it all. i thank God for the security and comfort He offers. and i thank God for His grace to allow me to laugh it off instead of it effecting my day and consequently ruining someone elses day. so again…
