I have been a lot more successful recently. instead of exercising for as long as I think I can go, I’ve been setting goals to build up to and, as any sagitarius would, I aimed high. Turns out I can do 200 crunches, I didn’t think I could but i proved myself wrong for the better. Also I’ve divided my meals down, so now I’m eating more times a day but smaller portions. I get about 250 calories a meal, which by the end of the day adds up to 1,500 (that’s give or take maybe 20 cals.) I’m only 5’ 3” and not very active so I don’t need more than 1,500. Discovery health has a kinda nifty fitness thing; However, it’s designed for someone not poor (like myself) so the recipes are kind of a joke. OH! and I’ve been reading the book the Omnivore’s Dilemma it really makes you take a second look at the foods you are eating, and it also makes you appreciate food more. It’s a really good read, and filled with lots of vibrant and sardonic humor. As far as food choices I often find myself eating, Corn and beans is awesome it’s so low cal, and not fat really. I can even get away with putting some brown sugar in the beans to make them more barbecuey. It really is a perfect meal though carbs protein and fiber. . . Oh and soup is pretty sweet too I miss mayonaise and I can’t have all the yummy cheeses and other dairy products I love, so cream of chicken, broccoli, asparagus, and more soups are filling the void. oh and dark chocolates not as bad as milk chocolate so I do allow myself an extremely rare but very savored chocolate moment. Anyway I hope that gives a few of you something that helps you out.
