Somewhere along the way I lost my passport. And my birth certificate. I’m choosing to believe this was out of my own carelessness rather than the work of a clever identity thief. Step one: order a copy of my birth certificate – done. Step two: receive birth certificate, apply for passport before the impulsive need to jet off somewhere strikes me. Because we all know being impulsive takes preparation. ;-)
