become a Matlab guru

I know Matlab. In fact, I know Matlab well. I’ve been using it for more than 6 years now. I even taught Matlab courses in College,several times. I’m a very good user. And I use several toolboxes too, like Communications, Signal Processing. But I want to be a pro. So I’ve decided that I would start by reading the Matlab Documentation. The Matlab itself, To really understand what’s going on.
I’ve this book too, “Mastering Matlab 7”, which I’ve read parts of it, but I want to read it all.
But I guess I’ll start with the documentation. I hope that’s a good idea.
