there are soooo many good books
I check out books for work and read them at work—perfectly acceptable. Those are “geeky” books, e.g. “Favorite Excel Tips and Tricks”/John Walkenbach.
But then as I meander through the Great Hall and see the displays outside Popular, Humanities and even Fine Arts, I fill my arms up with such great reads as Gregory Maquire’s newest “Son of a Witch” and “In the Stacks” ed Michael Cart. I have James Patterson’s “Lifeguard” sitting at home too!
Aaacckk what’s a library gal to do?? And books on cd don’t solve the problem. There’s nothing like curling up with Maguire and a select adult beverage on my comfy couch. And I can’t renew it—over 200 requests!!
