The basics 14 months ago

A friend of mine crocheted a gorgeous baby blanket for me. Then, in response to my begging, sat me down and taught me the basics of using a crochet hook. I promptly crocheted a long blue scarf. Although the scarf is synthetic, uneven, and not exactly nice, I’m proud of this little achievement.
