God, information makes me smile!
No drugs.
No booze.
No sex.
None of that.
Just pure uncorrupted fun. With good friends who always have your best interest at heart.
Never did I think I would say this, but I am truly grateful and proud to have stability in life and those that surround me.
Today, I was given a beautiful gift from two friends of mine. They have been with me since I was about seven years old. Ten years later, we are still fantastic friends.
I was crying so hard when opening the sentimental gift. The fact is, is that these two individuals love me so much. And I love them. They are the kindest souls I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.
I am happy that they are in my life.
I am happy that they will continue to be.
I am so happy that some things just never change.
Spent the whole day cleaning my bedroom. It’s now spotless and feels good physically and emotionally.
I have used my time efficiently.
I am happy when I do that.
It makes me happy to finish things successfully.
Completely aimless and nonsensical. Listening to the sounds of fast cars and steamships. The buskers playing banjos with scraggy dogs lying next to them, as protectors. Like guardian canines.
The company of another human being. And feeling absolutely free on the sidewalk of a busy, singing street.
I completed this goal two years ago, believing that those things truly made me happy. I went through them and realized that the vast majority were just as material as money, that my happiness used to be substance-based.
For chrissake, number ten was “drugs.”
I have since changed quite a bit.
I want to redo this goal, because I know fully what makes me happy now.
Change makes me relieved.
