We now own six reusable shopping bags at home. Also, I’ve been bringing in my own coffee and breakfast to work in reusable containers, not only saving myself money, but creating less waste as well!
We’re also getting better about recycling in our home, as a truck comes by to pick up bottles, cans, and newspapers every week anyhow. We’ve figured that we do pretty well on weekly garbage too, since our trashcan is never full, and it seems like our neighbors are overflowing each week.
I considered going the biodegradable diaper route (I could never do cloth, I’m sorry!), but I think I’m going to wait until The Cheeseburger is closer to being potty trained. I’m a little afraid of how well the Whole Foods diapers can handle blowouts.
