get all of my cats fixed

I’ve spent the last four days listening to my younger cat yowl at the boys to come over for some fun. Luckily, they’re all deaf or gay because there have been no instances of male kitties outside my apartment.

After about ten phone calls and countless voice mail messages, I finally got a call back from the SPCA about getting the cats fixed so I have the information I need. I still need to buy two carriers which will run me about $100, though. I have one, but it was from when Ashley (my oldest cat) was a kitten and it’s way too small for either of them. This will be traumatic enough for them without one of them having to spend the whole time like a sardine.

Mreow! Mreoooooooow! Rooooooooooowr!!!!!!!!!!!! (butt-bounce)

Ashley has been in perpetual heat for over a month now. By perpetual I mean she has a day here and a day there where she’s not before going right back in. This time the break lasted less than 24 hours. Yes, I’m aware I have two cats and can get Hermione fixed, but I don’t think it’s fair since Ashley has been waiting a lot longer. Besides, Hermione isn’t all that annoying in heat except for her odd foot fetish.

So, I wake up this morning and Ashley’s doing the booty bounce while sounding like she’s in a trance trying to communicate with the dead.

Four words: here we go again

She’s yowling. Make her stop.

It’s not their fault. It’s just Mother Nature playing a trick on me. Repeatedly.
