I currently have everything I need to make a lovely baked lasagna. Someone at work tried to talk me into making it for the stupid ass Easter luncheon we’re having on Friday. Then I remembered I don’t really like much of anyone at work (and the one person I do like just went on a 10-day vacation to the Keys meaning she can go to hell), so the idea of taking $25 worth of food to make something for them really wasn’t all that appealing to me.
Besides, I’m a greedy fucker when it comes to lasagna. I want it all. Think Daffy Duck in that Genie of the Lamp cartoon: GO GO GO! MINE MINE MINE!

I’m tempted to not buy anything prepackaged or processed, but that does tend to be a tad expensive. We’ll see.

Due to my total laziness about going shopping to even buy things to cook at home. I need to do better, but even more shopping is required.

This is a test of the unFUBAR Your Body system. Had this been an actual FUBAR emergency, your blood pressure would be high and you’d look like a sausage stuffed into denim cigarette paper when you wear jeans…oh dear.
I’ve allowed myself to run out of everything that is bad for me (NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and picked up stuff at the store to make that is healthier. Either I will start feeling better or go on a homicidal rampage taking out every pimply-faced delivery boy I can find, steal his pizzas and with my luck find out they’re all veggie.

Although I did pick up stuff for lunch at work, I also purchased chicken breasts and a beef roast to make pot roast.

I’ve got hamburger thawing in the kitchen and I’m going to make something for dinner tonight. It will require standing in the kitchen for about 15 minutes. I don’t know if I can handle it being, you know, 36 and all.

It took exactly 10 minutes of watching Good Eats on Food Network to get the cooking juices flowing. I’m watching him make the most incredible looking Chicken Kiev. I need kitchen stuff NOW!
