I can’t take it anymore. I am at 109 and my doctor says I need to lose weight. I have to do this. I need to go to the gym and build muscle.
Now you can help. Does bread affect my weight loss?
And does drinking water/apple juice/coke affect weight loss?

Tell me everything you know about carbs. What they are, how healthy they are, and what they do towards me losing weight. Thanks.

How do you overcome a 6 month plateau? I’ve been stuck on 106 since I first lost weight. How do I get through it?
BTW- snacks have been changed to apples and water. Eating less fats and less food [atleast it seems] but I haven’t exercised. I’m hoping to start going to the gym again.
HELP. HELP. HELP.

I have realized, that I don’t need to lose 10 pounds. If I stay at the weight I am right now (105 or whatever) or maybe 104 or 103..I’m actually pretty happy with my body. I’m starting to fit better into clothes, I have so much for energy, and I’m doing so much better in sports. My self esteem is so much higher. Even my friends and family are starting to notice that I look so much better. Why do I have to lose weight if I feel strong, graceful and beautiful? We have so much that we don’t think about..we are so lucky. I guess the realization is that I don’t need to lose weight. So I’m really happy. If I just maintain this weight, I will be happy with myself. Thanks everyone for all the help. You’ve been great :]

Lately I’ve been going up and down between 105 and 106. I think its pretty good though, my next goal is 104. Just a pound, but I haven’t been 104 in about 2 years. So I’m trying to for it!
I haven’t been eating much with the injury I have and with this I don’t think I will be able to exercise that much. Plus I am sick so that brings a different concept into it. I hope I get better soon, i can’t wait to be able to actually walk without having to turn my foot on its side..
As for my snacking..we’ve stocked up on a bag of my favorite apples so you know I’ll be muching on those..
For breakfast this morning..it was bad. But so delicious! My mom brought it up since I’m sick.
-3 french toast sticks
-1 scrambled egg
-3 pieces of low fat turkey bacon
-Small cup of apple juice
I think I really am doing good. I’m really starting to feel healthier and my immune system is building up. I’ve been drinking a lot of water. I mean alot. I need to stop lacking on the exercise part..

I said I would cut down on my food. I have. I have been eating snacks throughout the day and I don’t have much to eat during lunch. I am trying my best to eat breakfast..egh; not much to say. I have promised myself that I won’t get on the scale more than 3 times a day. I usually weigh myself in the morning, and then in the night. I am going to re-start going to the gym next week.
Advice? Please?

I thought my breakfast was good. But my friend slept over and I asked her what she wanted for breakfast. She said eggs. After we finished making them, I asked if she wanted toasts or bagels or whatever. But she said no. My usual breakfast consists of two pieces of whole grain toast with butter and jelly on them, and scrambled eggs. So then I thought to myself “this is why I’m not losing weight. I eat too much in one meal.” So I’ve learned that my meals must be cut down. For lunch I had two slices of pizza (yes I know sad) with apple juice. Then we went to the pool until 6:30. I did a lap, and we were in the entire time! We dived and it was so fun. But at the beginning I noticed how slim everyone was. Then I saw this girl who was totally confident and was like me- a bit chubby. So I took off my clothes (I had my bikini on underneath) and jumped right in! What a blast I had..
I got home a couple hours ago. When I changed I noticed my stomach being a bit flatter and more curvy. I think swimming is the key. Now that my family is gone and I’m back from vacation, I’m ready to hit the gym as many times a week as I can possibly go! I’m ready to really get this weight off and do the right thing for my body. I’m starting to understand the eating part, now I have to master the exercise side. So does anyone have any advice?
