I have a teensy bit of downtime and could knock this goal off my list—I think I have the right address (the phone number wasn’t listed; I even paid $9.95 for a stupid search thingy that was probably a scam just to check).
I basically just want to say ‘hello, this is your long-lost daughter, thought you might want to know a little about me—here’s a summing up of my life, hope you are well, sincerely, mandarcat’
I guess it’s the reducing my life to a few paragraphs that’s weird. but also the general progression of my life thus far is just plain bizarre. the basic facts read more like a riddle than an autobiography.
And to leave a return address or not? I’m not writing b/c I want to start a relationship now—just to let him know I turned out okay and don’t think anything bad of him—I live too far away for anyone to show up on my doorstop, but if there’s no return address, I won’t have to wonder when I don’t get a reply or feel bad if I receive letters i don’t care to answer.
