I never knew there was such a thing until I was looking up info on the wisent.

The beefalo is a crossbred animal…part cow, part buffalo,
This was first ‘invented’ in 1800’s by Charles Goodnight, he wanted to make a breed that could last through the winters better.
Beefalos are said to be less distructive to rangeland.
