here we go again...........the "Start Over"

It’s not really a start over, it’s a get my ass back on track. You see, I started out at 208lbs.
First a brief history, I was thin growing up, hit puberty,put on a little chunk, but quickly lost it because of sports & dance team. Had my son, put on a little, lost a little maintained weight at about 135-140. Had my daughter, only put on a little but lost a lot more, weight was at 118 and went to about 125. Had an emergency hysterctomy at 24 years old, gained a ton of weight over a 6 year period. I spent the last half of my twenties very heavy.

When I turned 30, I decided to start loosing the weight. I lost my “hotness”, lol. I was 5’9”, 208 lbs. I started extereme dieting, lost 20 lbs. Stayed at that weight for about 1 year. At 31 started again to try to loose the weight, added walking and some dieting, lost another 20 lbs. Maintained at 160 lbs.

Then sometime around my 32nd birthday, it all kicked in. I wanted to look hot, I wanted to feel good. I lost myself and I needed to find myself, sooooooo.
I started going to the gym. Sept 05 I started kicking butt, exercising, dieting, etc. I was 161 lbs when I started by December I was 144 lbs. Maintained that until April 06. Started extreme dieting along with the gym. I was eating 500 calories a day, mainly composed of fruit and other empty calorie foods. Went down to 118 lbs by June of 2006. August I went up to 123 lbs. I loved it!!! I maintained that weight until October. My went up to 130 lbs. Maintained that until about January, back at 144 lbs. Now here we are in May of 2007, I am 146.4 lbs. I want to be my dream/goal weight again of 123lbs.
My plan is to get to 123 lbs and maintain it between 123 and 127 lbs, NEVER to go over 130lbs.

I will do it. Exercise and extreme dieting. NO DIET PILLS! I am not into that. But I will exercise and I will cut calories, smaller portions, lots of water, fruits & veggies. Lean meats such as chicken or turkey.

By the way, I forgot to mention I have Lupus and polymyositis. This can put a damper on things sometimes, especially when I am hurting or have a lupus flare. It makes the doctors crazy that I do this but yest, my numbers for my blood work have not been all that bad. Sometimes they have been but for the most part when I was extreme dieting they were ok.

So we’ll see…....

I think tomorrow I’ll put one of my “fat” pictures up and then a picture from when I was at my goal weight, then what I am now. Motivation baby!!!!!

Once a week I will measure to see if I am loosing inches as well. I will also be keeping a food diary that will also be posted….(i kept diaries before and it helped alot with the weight loss)

Waist- above belly button 30”, center of belly button 33.5”, below belly button @ butt/hips area- 36”

Across center of butt/hip area- 37”

Thigh- rt top 20.5”, lt top 21”, rt bottom above knee 15.5”, lt bottom above knee 15.0”

Calf- left 14” , right 14”

Ankle- left 8 3/4” right 8 3/4”

Bicep- left 11”, right 11.5”

Wrist- left- 6 1/4” right 6 3/4”

Heart Rate- start 9:43 pm 124 bpm
stop 3:35 am 86 bpm average, 148 bpm high
(heart rate was while I was sleeping)
Will try to keep better records of heart rate

So good luck to me, I will do it. I want my goal so bad that I can taste the skinny in my mouth!
