The schedule around the homestead is rapidly changing and I never got back on track during the holidays… At least I’ll have fresh eyes when I look at it next!

This morning I read a few chapters from Janet Burroway’s book Writing Fiction – A Guide to Narrative Craft. A great book! This is my first experience writing and her book inspired me to put it down and get to my computer to write. I see that as a good sign.
I have the skeleton of the book down already, and I am about halfway through on fleshing it out. I think I’ll consider that my first draft. I’ll need to do MAJOR editing, but I am so happy to actually have the desire to write. That was previously unheard of.
