If whole life insurance is a good idea. Lots of websites say it’s not. But I don’t know if there are situations in which it is a good idea, and if so, if those apply in my case. Part of me wants to be a little more methodical in terms of saving/investing, but I’m not sure what the next step is after participating in a 401K. The insurance salesman obviously is going to point out that even if I max out the 401K for the rest of my life, I’m not going to be able to spend as much in retirement as I probably want to. Need to get to the bottom of this…
