I never thought I would like to run. I never liked it before. One of my best friends and my boyfriend like to run but I always thought the effort would be too much and I don’t like too much effort ;) but I left my physically demanding job where I had to br standing 8 hours per day, going up and down the stairs and picking things from high shelves and I thought: I’m so used to this that I’m going to be fat very quickly if I don’t do anything! And at the same time looking for a job is not easy and can be quite stressful so I needed something to make me go out from home to get some fresh air and relieve my accumulated energy and some bad energies.

But running fast half an hour? not for me. So my boyfriend told me about an article on a book about running I gave him before that said how to start running if you are a potato couch and I tried.

So it starts with running for 2 minutes and walking for 4, 5 times. This way you do 30 minutes exercise that is the minimum that your body needs to have any effect. After that you run 3 minutes, 4,...until you run for half an hour. At this moment I am running 8 minutes and then I walk 2 minutes, 3 times. Next week should be 9 minutes.

But I run quite slowly and listening to the radio in a park. I think it needs to be a pleasure and not a big effort.
