I have increased the goal to losing 30 pounds. A combination of having taken prednisone for my asthma and a major change in my eating habits were too much for my self-control, I guess. When I re-started my diet two weeks ago, I weighed in at 166. I am now at 161. I am determined to get down to my goal weight since this is now affecting my health. My IBS is out of control and my biggest clothes are tight making me very uncomfortable all day.
In the past I was successful because I kept anything I couldn’t eat out of the house. I can’t do that now. So, I have to develop stronger self-control. I have to not eat that freshly baked brownie, or the dove bars in the freezer. I have to say no to the thick sauces and fried foods. sigh
