crochet

I have made two blankets/ afghans and countless hats and scarves. I have bought so much yarn they should have my picture hanging in every craft store over a sign that says “just say no”. Iam currently working on another throw to snuggle in on the couch. My brother is trying to get me to start an etsy page because he seems to think that there are people out there that would like my work… I told him I had a whole lot more to learn before I got to that point.

Athough I cheat a little and use the Knifty Knitter tools, I have successfully made about 7 hat and scarf sets fro friends and various people. Two of which I was paid to do! I also knitted hats for all of my students in second grade last year. 12 boy hats and 8 girls hats were made as part of their Christmas/ winter break gift.

I finished a blanket and have started on another. The blank I did by hand without the assistance of the knifty knitter and it is now my favorite thing in the house. I am so proud of myself for following through. It has helped me relax quit a bit.

years ago when a friend taught me one crochet stitch. Then I found myself with the Knifty Knitter. It’s a set of plastic looms. I decided that I could make a scarf or something to help me relieve stress. It was supposed to be a hat, but well, you know, things happen.
Anyway, I decided since I had gotten better at the hat making i made hats for the students in my class. Needless to say I dont want to make anymore hats, but I would love to learn how to make something else. I have bought a lot of yarn.
