I’ve been writing fiction for twenty years - long novels that I enjoy immensely - but I can never quite get my brain around trying to market my books. Everytime I make a goal toward actually publishing, I get overwhelmed by the “odds” against me, or I become obsessed with rewriting and perfecting what I already have, or otherwise find ways to derail and self-sabotage. Hmm, do I sound neurotic enough yet? Believe it or not, I do have a lot in my favor. I write for a living, so I’m a proven writer. I’m not sure what’s holding me back. Any ideas?
