20 Min session on the bike
Heart rate between 140 and 171 BPM – used the bikes built in unit and not my own HRM.

First Body for Life cardio workout – hard work but short and kept my interest. THe final 60 seconds at 300+ watts on the bike was a killer!

Sunday / Tuesday 3 years ago

Sunday was a 10 mile walk in the lake district – around 3500ft of climbs and the traverse of striding edge which really gets the heart going (see piccy)

Tuesday I did weights, but that keeps my heart rate elevated as I keep the rest times down.

Made it tot he gym on sunday and did my usual weights work out plus half an hour on the treadmill – averaged about 150 bpm on the treadmill, so happy with that.

Weather is pants, so I decided not to ride to work (32 miles there and back, done tuesday and thursday). So I went to the gym and ran for 15 mins and Cycled for 20. My heart rate peaked at about 170 on both machines. I should remember to take my heart ate monitor with me, for the average.
