I need to start getting more serious with this goal, because it seems as if whenever I think I’m making progress in leaps and bounds, I do something stupid that makes me feel like I haven’t gained any traction at all. “Discipline weighs ounces but regret weighs tons” is what goes through my mind whenever I experience one of these slip-ups. I know that most people will say that being to rigid in your routine takes the fun out of it, but I would have to disagree. I think if it’s truly a goal you’re committed to, then only through being rigid and experiencing measurable results do you find any fun/pleasure.

The more I focus on what I’m eating, the more I start thinking about staying away from meat altogether. I love meat, but I’m starting to dig tofu and it’s health benefits.
I don’t know what happened, but between the holiday and today I completely lost my focus. I’m logging this so I can take some accountability and get back to what I’ve been having success with.
I quit smoking 6 months ago (not to mention drinking), and I feel better now than I ever have. Living a healthy lifestyle has been the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. I still have a lot of work to do but I know I’m headed in the right direction, which is definitely a confidence booster.
