sell things on etsy

I got in my first BIG custom order last week! TWENTY Sorority Letters Plaques. I am sooo excited about this! I was going to give up making the sorority stuff but this gave me a lot of encouragement! Now I can keep my sorority listings in my shop without feeling as if they are there for nothing. I need to make the directions in my listings more specific though. Now I just need to go finish painting for the new order and get them shipped out! :)

That puts me at 4 sales!

I haven’t had any sales since the last two and I think my page views have decreased as well. I haven’t had the time to promote my site or even create new things for it, so obviously thats not going to attract any attention. I am working on an idea now to do custom shop banners. Since my shop has a boutique feel though, I’m not sure if I should just make a new shop for graphics or just add a graphics line. I have tons of other handmade ideas but otherwise lack the time and materials to complete them.

Off etsy though, I’m working on a painting for a friend so I’ll get some extra money from that without having to give etsy a percent of the transaction.

I have big ideas so I’m just gonna have to keep working.

3 sales!!

These were completely random, not someone I know that commissioned work. I sold a pair of vintage earrings and a mini painted bird house.

I was so excited that I sold 2 in one week!

It was my future sister-in-law Cheryl, but I’m super excited that my etsy now says I have a sale! I just need to get on the ball and make more items! I only have 12 listed right now, but I have at least 3 works in progress that need to go on there soon!

I’m talking to my boyfriend’s sister about a custom listing for a bachelorette party, so hopefully she will be my first customer!

I have 11 items in my shop now and several more on the way. I just have to find my camera charger!
