submit a t-shirt design to Threadless

Ahh I’m so excited this one was accepted! Now it’s in the voting and scoring stage!

Here it is!

UGH How long does it take to approve a design submission? The suspense is killing me! I need to know if I’m good enough for a darn t-shirt website. And I feel like this goal is completed, but it’s not until I get accepted. My hard work and creative ideas are not enough until that happens. Wish me luck.

So I just have to wait and see if I got accepted!

I went back and looked at my first design… and it sucked! No wonder I didn’t get accepted! I could probably improve it a bit, but unfortunately I lost the original files when my external hard drive died. I’m not too sad though, because it will give me a chance to move on to newer and better ideas.

Hopefully I get accepted and then I can complete this goal!

Next goal: Have a t-shirt design printed by Threadless!

it SHOULD be called “Have a t-shirt design accepted for submission to Threadless.”

I submitted my first design today, but it was declined. I was sad :(
But the most frustrating thing – the decline reason was a a total form letter so I have no idea what was wrong with it. Did I use too many colors? Was it not the right format? I have NO CLUE.

Is there anybody with experience with this that can help me out?

I submitted a design to the critique section of Threadless so that I can get some feedback on my design. There are a couple of things that I think may need work, but I want to get some other people’s opinions and then fix it for an official submission!!

I have had an idea in my head for a Threadless design for several months now. I have Adobe CS2 on my computer and it is so slow and it takes forever to do anything! So I usually get frustrated and move on to something else. My idea is for a GREEN theme design, inspired by some sketches that I did for a drawing class last spring. I hope that by putting this on my life list, I can get this project done faster!
