Break a world record

The organizers of the Contra Line cancelled it… Was supposed to be today.

I guess I’ll have to do this one in October.

I always thought it’d be interesting to do this. And I planned on doing the annual “most people doing thr Thriller dance” which happens just north of Toronto, but it’s so far away and hard to get to. So when I saw that our local discount department store wanted to break a world record…. I thought I’d sign up.

“World’s longest Contra Line.” I didn’t even know what it was, but it’s some sort of square/folk dancing type thing. Who cares what it is, should be fun.

The big day…June 21. 6 a.m.!!! Doubt there’ll be the 1500 people needed to break the record, so early in the morn, but it’ll be a good experience.
