8. Lisbon
My mother is in love with this city. She spent there a month few years ago and I believe it was one of the happiest times of her life. Because of her influence I imagine Lisbon as a beautiful, old, magical city.
I definitely plan to visit it someday…
And maybe when I’m there, I’ll take a trip to Madeira, too. ;)

7. Cuba

Another absolutely unique country.
I admire it for it’s political history and resilience to withstand through all these years, even though most countries of the Socialist block have ceased to exist. Such a strange place to live and so different from rest of the world.
An incredible place, but I think it will not be what it is now as soon as Fidel Castro dies. It will go through immense change, update and will be grabbed by capitalism.
Should be visited before all this happens.

6. Iceland
I’m not sure why I want to go here except I think they have very characteristic, quiet and different atmosphere of the cities and of nature, which is different than in all other European (or any other) countries.
So secluded, cold, and petite, yet so colorful, definitely a country I hope of seeing someday.

5. Australia
Here I’d like to see marsupials in their natural environment, and generally majestic nature that cannot be seen anywhere else…
Although, gigantic and/or venomous bugs inhabiting the continent kinda scare me.

The museums! The art! The architecture! The coast! The cities! The atmosphere!
More than worth visiting.

3. Angola
I got these beautiful pictures at last year’s Book Fair that I visited. They were from Angolan stand.
And I absolutely fell in love with the images.
After that I looked up the internet for some information on the country and decided, since you can’t really be sure about the information you find online, that I’ll have to visit Angola and see it for myself.

(You can see the whole image if you open it in new tab, I wasn’t sure how to downsize it. Also, a few more images here: http://www.behance.net/gallery/Angola-Belgrade-book-fair/2365976 )

2. Amsterdam

Why?
Many of the paintings made by Kasimir Malevich are in the Stedelijk Museum. A must see!
The beautiful atmosphere of the city. And let’s not forget dear Van Gogh, of course.
And, well, a normal drug policy. (although they are changing drug regulations considering tourists, so Prague would probably be a better spot for that kind of activities)

In order to make room for new goals, I decided to merge some that were concerning travelling plans, or dreams.
So, number 1. Maldives

This place really is a Heaven on Earth.
Unfortunately, I doubt I’ll ever visit it. The costs are just insane. Who are those people that actually go there?
