I had $55.25 in the piggy bank when I cashed it in about June 1st. But, I had to spend it on food. Rats. I think I better not do any more intermediate cashing in – just keep saving change, and dump it into containers that I will cash in all at once when I get closer.
I turn 48 in a few days… I still have two years to save, find a tattoo artist, and decide on the art (and where to put it).

I’ve always meant to get a tattoo, but it always seemed frivolous when money was short. I have a piggy bank on my desk, and I empty my pocket change into it once a week. I also add any “found” money, like the change for the bottom of the washing machine. The bank is already almost half full. I need to find something to empty it into. Or maybe open a passbook savings account with no ATM card attached to it. Otherwise, I will use the money when some crisis arises.
I have more than 2 years left to save. I should have a nice chunk of money by then; hopefully, a couple hundred dollars. I’ll spend the rest on a party. :-)
