But I think I’m becoming more and more confident this is one of my real goals in the long term. I don’t think I have the vast level of ambition some have, and I don’t want to end up with a global corporation or solving world hunger or anything. Just enough to live on, an interesting and engaging thing to do all day, and perhaps some other folk I like working with to do it with.
But I keep swithering between thinking
(a) I am really rather good at stuff and would be able to pull this off no sweat, or
(b) I’m totally kidding myself, I’d just drown, and I should stick to smaller simpler things I can actually do.
Why do I want to do this?
Um…
- I want to live exactly where I chose, and that’s likely to be somewhere a little out of the way
- I don’t want to live in a world built on frequent panic and stress. Surely there must be some jobs where there’s not quite so much pressure?
- Er, I really should think about this some more, shouldn’t I?
