I finished my bills tonight. Things are looking up! I have a big payment to the state of California for taxes in a week or so, and then it will be smooth sailing. I am so grateful! I am going to mark this goal as met.
This will get better next month, after I get paid on Feb. 28. I have no money in my checking account, bills piling up, and I’m scared. It’s all I can do not to hide and scream. How did I let it get this bad? I will never try to pay off credit cards at the beginning of the month EVER again – getting left with no money is pretty awful! I need to build up my savings again – I’ve always had a cushion to fall back on.
