expand my social circle

I have friends. Very close friends. But they are so far away. And there are so few of them. I can honestly think of 3 people off the top of my head that I consider my best friends. I can tell them anything and they’ll never judge me. And I’m okay with just those 3 people being on that level of friendship. When I became pregnant it seemed like my then social circle decided to exlude me. I think they did it out of love, but I still just felt excluded. I made friends with a couple of other pregnant gals but now that my son is one and a little more independant, I’d like to meet some new folks. Maybe some couples. Definitely with kids. I’m in my 30’s and not sure how to start this ball rolling. Any suggestions?
