All week I’ve had virtually no dairy….as in milk. I can tolerate yogurt for some reason..
I switched to almond milk, and it has made a huge difference! It also is pretty good. I found one that was vanilla flavoured, and taste is acceptable for the little I need it. (just with my coffee, and my cereal)..
I did have beef today, and probably not a good thingy, but this week was a good one for being virtually symptom free!
Hip-hip -hurray!

Another week of general uncomfortableness!
This weekend was particularly bad for symptoms.. I know that yesterday, I was munching on some trail mix (I think that was a source of too much fat).. and I’ve had more milk than my norm…
As much as I hate the idea, I am going to have to give up milk for 1 week and see if things ‘settle down’ tummy wise..
It’s only a week after all! Right???
I could try almond milk this week – I sure didn’t like the soy milk when I tried it a few weeks ago – blech!!!! Or any time I’ve tried it!
Peppermint tea seems to provide some relief, but not sure if any/all teas would do the same…

I can go days, weeks and even months without an issue, and then whammo!
I have a major flare up and cannot eat anything!
So I’m going to be back at this goal… I must manage my symptoms.. for the past couple of weeks have been brutal.
It is bad enough at the moment, that I don’t want to eat much at all…
Back to a food diary, me thinks! And cutting out all dairy ! (sob- for I love my milk!)

my IBS has been kicking back at me with a vengeance! So it is going back to basics for me.
I’m now cutting out (most) dairy, fat, and to start reducing my caffeine, (gasp!) drinking more water, and increasing my fruits and veggies.
I am keeping a food diary, to see if I notice what foods cause the symptoms etc.
It has been a rough weekend, and I’ve really not accomplished a damn thing which only makes me feel worse.. sigh..
Ah well, next week I’m sure it will be better..
